Discipline, Moral Values & Good Habits are the three things which are formed in childhood, being a Principal of the School I am dutiful towards the students and the society to inculcate these Life Skills in our students.
Doon Public School – Sivasagar is one of the leading and a premier institute in the District, serving the society with the light of wisdom from 2010, run under the aegis of well-established management “Doons' Welfare Association”.The School aims at setting new standards in the education system by imparting quality education with effective coaching, remedial classes, reviews, and evaluation of students’ performance through the regular unit and Periodic Examinations. We strongly believe that along with academic progress a child should also grow intellectually, so that it empowers them to understand and develop their self-esteem, self-awareness and self-confidence, so that they can analyze any situation of life courageously, confidently, and truthfully.
While academic excellence is our major thrust, The school is also striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combined with academics and extracurricular activities in the children, the school is equipped with trained teachers in each scholastic and non – scholastic subjects, to bring out the best in each student and give an avenue to showcase their talents.
I strongly believe that building a child’s future is a collaborative effort of right guidance and a dedicated mentor, in this respect a crucial role is being played by the Teachers and Parents, both are equally responsible in bringing out the brighter side of a child. I would hereby request our parents to keep a track of all activities they are doing, visit school regularly for updates, checking their daily class and home activities, attending P.T.M when called, and track a record of progress. In order to have better human capital for the nation, we believe in building smart and confident citizens, who would make the society proud by their multifaceted growth.

Doon Public School, Sivasagar is a very ambitious project of Doon’s Welfare Association Society. It was established in the year 2010 keeping in view the dire necessity of good educational institutions in Sivasagar, Assam. It is situated in neat and clean atmosphere where the students are quite safe, an ideal place of education and child development.
The School has a rich infrastructure with its own campus, avenues for indoor and outdoor games, spacious & airy classrooms, well equipped activity rooms for Science, Mathematics, Geography & Computer Laboratories to develop the scientific temper among the budding scholars and also a well-stocked library to inculcate the reading habit among the students there by enhancing their knowledge along with their school curriculum. At Doon Public School along with academic excellence emphasis are also given to bring out the inner potential of the students by giving a right direction and an avenue to excel, so that they were equipped enough with knowledge and wisdom to embark on the journey of life.
